Family Recipe
Serves: 10
Ingredients
- 3 cups canned sweet potatoes, drained and mashed
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, lightly whipped
- 1/2 cup half & half
- 1/3 cup soft butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
Topping:
- 1 cup soft brown sugar
- 1 cup crushed pecans
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/3 cup melted butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350*F. Coat sides and bottom of a 9x13 pan with butter. Mix all ingredients together and spread into the pan.
- Mix all of the topping ingredients together and spread over the sweet potato mixture.
- Bake at 350*F for 35-45 minutes.
This recipe is very sweet and can even pass as a dessert.
