Lisa Peterson's Family Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
- 2 15 ounce cans grapefruit sections
- Frozen raspberries
- 7-Up or Sprite (any lemon-lime soda will work)
Directions:
- Boil and water until the sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally.
- Beat the grapefruit sections with an egg beater or immersion blender until smooth.
- Combine liquids and pour into a shallow pyrex baking dish.
- Freeze, keeping it level until frozen.
- One hour before serving, chop the grapefruit into chunks and place into serving cups.
- Top with frozen raspberries and 7-up just before serving.
